Holiday Toy Drive: Runs from Monday, 12/2- Monday, 12/16

Lolly’s is excited to be doing a toy drive to create Jared Boxes. A Jared Box is plastic storage box filled with small gifts, toys, crayons, coloring books etc. The boxes are given to children in the hospital to provide a fun diversion while they are there. They are given out in the ER, patient rooms, cancer centers, surgical centers and for children receiving other tests and procedures. These boxes are meant to calm the nerves, lift spirits and show them that someone cares. You can learn more about Jared boxes here...

Here are some specific ideas for what to get. Please note, the website says they are usually lacking with boxes for infants and tween/teens. Also, remember that all items must be placed in small shoe size boxes (we will do this part) so be sure to stick to small items.
